On July 4th he goes for a trip to New York City, where he visits the Statue of Liberty, The Magic Toy Shop, and finally witnesses the famous fireworks at the Brooklyn Bridge.

Pavel Cerny’s career started as that of a film director in his native Czechoslovakia in the magical city of Prague. After forced expulsion from the communist country, he moved to Los Angeles where he became a screenwriter and playwright.

He became an internationally known stage director (USA, Germany, Austria) but it hasn’t been till the covid-19 pandemics of 2020 that he became energized again. During the first 10 months he wrote 4 screenplays and 2 books. The screenplays gathered many awards at major screenwriting competitions, including the European cinematography awards. Both of Pavel’s books (one a vampire horror, the other a charming children’s book bound to become a new Christmas classic) are coming out in the first months of 2021. Pavel is already working on parts two of each book
